Bridge Beams Installed at Charterholme

A key milestone has been achieved at Charterholme, as bridge beams have now been successfully installed in a complex and carefully coordinated operation led by Graham Civil Engineering.

A recently released video captures the scale and precision of the beam installation, which required meticulous planning and execution. From the logistics of transporting the beams to the accuracy needed during placement, the project team demonstrated exceptional expertise and teamwork throughout the process.

With the beams now in place, attention has turned to the next stages of construction. Final bracing and formwork are progressing well, with the main deck concrete pour scheduled for late April.

Working within tight rail possession windows, the team will also move ahead with construction of the deck slab, diaphragms, and wingwalls — all essential components of the new structure.

This progress keeps the Charterholme project firmly on track.
